Arrangements for the Appointment of the Assistant Director - Neighbourhoods Additional documents: Minutes: Committee was asked to approve the arrangements for the appointment of the Assistant Director, Neighbourhoods.
RESOLVED that a) the Chief Executive be authorised to commence an external recruitment process, through both direct advertisement and via a recruitment agency if deemed suitable, for the appointment of a permanent Assistant Director, Neighbourhoods, as set out in the report;
b) the Job Description and Person Specification for the role of Assistant Director, Neighbourhoods, as attached to the report at Appendix 2, be approved and delegated authority be granted to the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Leader of the Council, to finalise any updates required;
c) the indicative timelines set out in the report be approved with delegated authority being granted to the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Leader of the Council, to finalise dates in due course.
