Minutes: RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 14 July 2021, be received and approved as a correct record. |

Section 100A Local Government Act 1972; Exclusion of Press and Public A Member of the Committee is asked to move:-
“That in accordance with the provisions of Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be now excluded from the meeting during the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act and in respect of which the Proper Officer considers the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.”

Interview for the position of Director of Place and Communities Minutes: Members considered and agreed the process for conducting the interview, including questions and other aspects relevant to a full and transparent interview for the candidate.
Committee Members then proceeded to conduct the interview prior to adjourning the meeting at 12.00 noon on Thursday, 18 November to reconvene the following day.
The meeting reconvened at 4.30pm on Friday, 19 November for further consideration of the candidate’s interview results.
RESOLVED that the Chief Officers Employment Committee unanimously declined to appoint to the role of Director of Place and Communities following the interview process held on 18 November 2021.
