RESOLVED

that the minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 17^th April, 2019, be received and approved as a correct record

A Member of the Committee is asked to move:-

“That in accordance with the provisions of Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be now excluded from the meeting during the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act and in respect of which the Proper Officer considers the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.”

RESOLVED

that in accordance with the provisions of Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be now excluded from the meeting during the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act and in respect of which the Proper Officer considers that the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

Members undertook an interview process in relation to two candidates shortlisted for the post of Director of Place and Communities.

RESOLVED

that the appointment to the post of Director of Place and Communities be confirmed, as agreed by the Committee and on the terms set out in the report.

Reason:

To enable the Committee to undertake an appropriate interview and evaluation process to appoint to the post of Director of Place and Communities.
