RESOLVED

that the minutes of the of the meeting of the Chief Officers’ Employment Committee held on 18th April, 2018 be received and approved as a correct record.

Section 100A Local Government Act 1972; Exclusion of Press and Public

A Member of the Committee is asked to move:-

 

“That in accordance with the provisions of Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be now excluded from the meeting during the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act and in respect of which the Proper Officer considers the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

RESOLVED

that in accordance with the provisions of Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be now excluded from the meeting during the following item of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act and in respect of which the Proper Officer considers the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

Interviews for the post of Corporate Finance Manager (and Section 151 Officer) (Exempt by virtue of Paragraph 1)

Minutes:

The Committee undertook an interview process for the post of Corporate Finance Manager (and Section 151 Officer).  A preferred candidate was identified whom the Director of Resources and Business Transformation was authorised to contact.

 

RESOLVED

that the Chief Officers’ Employment Committee recommends to Council that the preferred candidate be appointed to the post of Corporate Finance Manager (and Section 151 Officer).
